摘要

在石油煉製廠和石化工廠中，設備保溫可以阻隔熱量散失，亦即可以降低操作成本，提高績效。尤其在油價高漲的今天，意義更為重大。
有關管線保溫方面，很多工程書籍和手冊均有資料可參考，也有廠商介紹其產品，隨時可用甚為方便。然而有關油槽保溫方面，資料則非常欠缺，甚或付之闕如，實為美中不足。
本文特別介紹油槽保溫相關資訊，提供油槽保溫之時機、保溫類型、各種不同保溫材料之比較及厚度選擇、油槽保溫之施工方式等相關資料及其經濟考量、雖然部分資訊為電腦程式的結果，但仍具參考價值。

Equipments insulation can protect refineries and petrochemical plants from losing the valuable heat energy, enhance the achievement by cutting down the operating cost induced from using heat energy. It is more meaningful especially in these days of higher oil price.
A lot of information about piping insulation is available in most engineering textbooks and handbooks. It is also convenient to have such material introduced by vendors. Unfortunately, reference information of tank insulation is seldom mentioned.
Backgrounds about tank insulation, such as ‘When to insulate’, ‘Types', ‘Material comparison and insulation thickness’ and ‘Insulation system’, and economical considerations are introduced in this article. Even if some parts of this information are results of the specified computer program, they can be consulted in some applications.
