Evaluation of Tank Bottom Settlement (A Study of Tank Settlement Survey and Using 3D Laser Scanner)

This article describes the reasons cause tank bottom settlement, types of settlement, trustful surveying technique and their assessing criteria. Concurrently to introduce different methods for surveying deformation of oil tanks. Their facilities and monitoring technique will also be addressed, including 3D laser scanner and GPS receivers.
