催化加氫技術在環保產品之加值應用

Value-Added Applications of Catalytic Hydrogenation for Environmental Friendly Products

摘要


生活中充斥著許多會造成人體危害的芳香烴化合物物質,例如汽油組成中的甲苯與被歸列為環境賀爾蒙的鄰苯二甲酸酯類塑化劑,其毒性來源為分子結構中的苯環,可透過加氫飽和的方式來降低該類型物質毒性。中油公司過去在煉油製程中累積豐富的加氫製程經驗,因應公司轉型朝向石化高值化應用發展,透過催化加氫技術將自有甲苯與氫氣作為原料,反應成低毒性的甲基環己烷;同時該技術也可將第一/二類毒性化學物質的鄰苯二甲酸酯類塑化劑反應成無毒的環己烷二羧酸酯環保可塑劑,是一種極具開發價值的綠色環保產品,可有效替代有毒物質的使用。本文介紹近年來在甲基環己烷與環己烷二羧酸酯可塑劑兩種綠色環保產品研發結果。研究過程包含觸媒篩選及測試、催化加氫製程評估,目前中油公司已在實驗室完成兩項產品開發,產品性能可符合規範要求。環保可塑劑開發過程中,陸續獲得毒化物運作評選競賽績優評選及第十四屆國家新創獎的肯定,未來我們將繼續投入後續研究與其他環保產品的開發,期盼能為國人健康盡一份心力。

There are many aromatic hydrocarbon compounds around people, which may cause human healthy damage. For example, toluene in the gasoline and phthalate plasticizers classified as environmental hormones, its toxicity is origin from the benzene ring in the molecule, which can be saturated by hydrogenation reaction to decrease toxicity of such kind of substance. CPC has received a lot of experience in hydrogenation treating in the process of oil refining, to respond CPC transformation and develop high valued petrochemical, we attempt to develop the low toxicity methylcyclohexane through the catalytic hydrogenation technique using our own toluene and hydrogen as raw material. In the meanwhile, the same technique can transform phthalate plasticizer, both first and second type of toxic chemical substances, into1,2-cyclohexane dicarboxylic acid diisononyl ester, which is a non-toxic eco-friendly plasticizer with highly development value, and it can be used to replace the traditional toxic substance. In this article, the recent research and development results of two kinds of environmental friendly products, methylcyclohexane and 1,2-cyclohexane dicarboxylic acid diisononyl ester plasticizer is introduced. The study includes catalyst screening, catalytic performance testing and hydrogenation process evaluation. Currently, CPC has finished the development of these two products in laboratory, its properties can meet the commercial requirements. During the research process in the eco-friendly plasticizer, we reward in competition in management of toxic chemical substances and 2017 National Innovation Award. We will keep working on further studying and developing other environmental friendly products, and we are looking forward to making an effort for protecting human health.
