氫化植物燃料油與永續航空燃料的推動現況及未來發展

摘要


因應氣候變化,世界多國政府和企業推動全球溫室氣體減排。在碳中和背景下,生質能源由於資源豐富與減排效果顯著,其重要性日益突顯,因此,對於再生能源領域、運輸方面的發展和趨勢、歐盟雄心勃勃的能源目標以及永續航空燃料崛起可實現航空業減排目標等議題應予以重視。氫化植物燃料油(HVO)是一種無化石燃料的石蠟燃料,由100%再生能源生產製造。它是一種更可持續、更高品質的柴油燃料,可由廢脂肪和植物油生產,脂肪透過氫化轉為生質燃料,可適用於所有柴油動力車輛和工業動力發電機。與化石柴油相比,HVO可減少高達90 %的溫室氣體排放,可降低大氣中的顆粒物含量30%,可減少對環境的負面影響。永續航空燃料(SAF)是一種新型噴氣飛機燃料,可替代傳統燃料,促進實現航空業減排目標。SAF可由包括用過的植物油、動物脂肪廢物、城市固體廢物、非糧食能源作物、藻類和森林殘留物等各種原料生產,換言之,係由再生能源透過可替代方式加工而來。以整個生命週期為計算基準,SAF所產生的二氧化碳比傳統燃料所產生的二氧化碳約降低80%。本篇研究首先探討HVO與SAF的生產過程與應用概況,其次分析這兩種再生柴油在世界主要國家和國際大石油公司之發展方向,並綜整未來3至5年全球的產能擴增趨勢,可作為臺灣發展生質能源的參考依據。

In response to climate change, the world's multi- country governments and enterprises have promoted the global greenhouse gas emission reduction. In the background of carbon, the importance of biomass energy due to its rich resources and emission reduction effects, its importance is increasingly prominent. The rise of the emergence of the aviation industry emission reduction should be paid attention to. Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO) is a kind of paraffin fuel without fossil fuel that is manufactured by 100% renewable energy. It is a more sustainable and higher- quality diesel fuel that can be produced by waste fat and vegetable oil. The fat is converted from hydrogen to biomass fuel. It can be suitable for all diesel power vehicles and industrial power generators. Compared with fossil diesel, HVO can reduce up to 90 % of greenhouse gas emissions, reduce the particulate matter content in the atmosphere by 30 %, and reduce the negative impact on the environment. Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is a new type of jet fuel that can replace traditional fuel and promote the aviation industry emission reduction goals. SAF can be produced by various raw materials such as vegetable oil, animal fat waste, urban solid waste, non -grain energy crops, algae and forest residues. In other words, it is processed by renewable energy through alternatives. Based on the entire life cycle as the calculation benchmark, the carbon dioxide generated by SAF decreases by about 80% compared with the carbon dioxide generated by traditional fuel. This study first explores the production process and application overview of HVO and SAF. Secondly, analyze these two recreational diesel in the development direction of major countries in the world and international large oil companies, and comprehensively rectify the global capacity expansion trend of the world in the next 3 to 5 years. It can be used as a reference for Taiwan's development of biological energy.
