摘要

在歐、美、日等國、GPS汽車導航系統開發已久，且有良好產品上市，但礙於價格昂貴、硬體作業環境不同、後續維修支援困難及本土化電子地圖必須重新製作等因素，遲遲無法在國內普遍使用。
逢甲大學地理資訊系統研究中心鑑於國內道路網建設迅速，市場無法即時配合供應正確地圖資訊及國人對汽車導航的需求日益殷切等因素，乃積極推動「即時性載具GIS導航及派遣管制系統」計畫。本文針對計畫內電子地圖之製作規劃、GIS屬性質資料設計、衛星影像道路中心線萃取、外業資料調查、精度檢核、坐標轉換、地圖投影、不符路況調查、GPS動態模式修補測、資料更新、圖形編修、圖檔整合、圖面整飾、美工設計等過程，作實務性之研究探討，期能利用GIS技術，建立快速查詢及快速更新道路資訊，適時製作新穎、詳盡之電子地圖、供國人使用。

The Vehicle Navigation System has been widespread in several countries, i.e. European, American and Japan, for a long time. Because of the higher price, poor maintenance servive and lacks of the localized digital maps, it is, therefore, not popular and difficult to be promoted in Taiwan.
Because of the rapid expansion of road networks in Taiwan, the demand of car navigation become necessary now. In addition, up-to-date maps are not available in time for related products. Thus, Geographic Information System Research Center (GISRC), Feng-Chia University funds a project to manufacture current maps of Taiwan. This paper describes the procedure and design of digital mapping, including GIS database, datum projection, GPS survey, satellite imagery extraction, attribute data survey, database update, etc. It is hoped the maps by virtue of GIS, GPS and RS technologies are complate, up-to-date, very useful.
