資訊時代的地圖學教育

摘要

隨著電腦及網路時代的來臨，對於資訊的生產、製作與傳播益加快速，因此資訊的多元化運用，則是未來主要的趨勢，傳統靜態的紙質地圖，在進入資訊化的環境下，亦將朝向動態、交談式及視覺化發展，因而在地圖的製作及使用方面，均將產生極大之變化。故有關地圖學教育，亦應配合進展，以符時代所需。本文即在探討在前述環境下對地圖本質、功能，以及在製圖與用圖之影響，並加以分析，提供未來地圖學教育發展之參考。

In the computer and information era, the production, manipulation and communication of information have growing vastly. The multiple uses of information in everyday life will be future trend. Conventional paper maps have been transferred in dynamic, interacted, and visualized environment that stimulated by the development of information technology. This has causing changes in map-production and map-use, and the development of cartographic education should following its path evenly. This article dealt with the impact on cartographic essence, functions, and on the producing and using of maps that come from technological innovation. The result will be helpful in the development of cartographic education of our country.
