摘要

本文以一個面積甚大、開挖甚深的成功案例闡述一個工程施工前安全檢討的重要性。周詳的事前檢討可以查覺深開挖工程問題的所在，事先做妥善的準備及預防，以將工程可能遭遇的風險或發生之災害降低至最輕微的程度；還可以在施工安全的控制上做最經濟的考量，使工程在兼顧安全及經濟下順利完成並獲得最大利益。本文案例之經驗應值得做為類似工程之參考。

This paper addresses the importance of pre-construction safety evaluation for a very large scale and very deep top-down excavation project in Tainan city. A thorough pre-construction safety evaluation can screen out potential construction hazards, preventive measures can also be implemented beforehand. As a result, potential risk or damage to a construction project is lowered to a minimal level; construction cost can also be lowered under favorable conditions. Experience gained in this deep excavation project clearly indicated the usefulness of pre-construction safety evaluation, which is a practice highly recommended for future projects.
