「台灣文獻叢刊」有關文廟釋奠樂的論述

「臺灣文獻叢刊」（以下簡稱「叢刊」）是研究臺灣史學者不可或缺的重要史料，「叢刊」總計有三○ 九種、五九五冊書籍，蒐集的書目上自唐代，下歷宋、元、明、清，以至於日治時期，內容包含臺灣方志、南明史集與明鄭文獻、清代檔案、私家著述與詩文集等，文獻內容集合了臺灣淵源之歷史、政治、經濟、社會文化、地理與風俗民情等。「叢刊」中對於專門奉祀孔子的廟多主要以「文廟」一辭來稱呼，其中記載到文廟的書籍約有一百四十七種之多，對於「文廟」的史料記載包含兩方面：一為文廟的修葺情形與建築規制；二為文廟的釋奠禮樂。本文主要探討「叢刊」在不同時期對於先師釋奠樂儀注的書寫，與樂生、樂器重修、陳設等文本記錄的描述，藉此文獻的爬梳，進一步認識臺灣文廟釋奠樂的演變歷程。

The Taiwan Literature Series is an important historical collection for Taiwan historians. It contains 595 books of 309 genres of literature that spans from the ancient Dynasties of Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing up to the Japanese occupation in the recent era. The Series comprises local records of the island, historical writings of Nan-Ming era, official documents in the Ming and Zheng Dynasties, collections of poetry and prose, as well as private publications. It incorporates the history, the origin, the political and economic development, cultures, geography as well as the local conditions and customs of Taiwan into one series.In the Series, the term 'Confucius Temple' was mainly used to describe the temples for worshipping Confucius. About 147 books of the Series documented the Confucius Temple with focus on two major aspects: 1. the renovation and architecture rules of the temples; 2. the Confucian ritual music. This report investigates the different records of the details of Confucian ritual music during different time periods, as well as the description of musicians, musical instruments repair and display. Through the exploration of the Taiwan Literature Series, the evolution of the Taiwan Confucius ritual music can be better understood.
