摘要

本文主要探討臺灣的文獻遺產典藏工作現況，首先定義文獻遺產的涵意與其範圍，並陳述臺灣文獻遺產的典藏現況，以歷史檔案與善本古籍為主。其次，探討聯合國教科文組織(UNESCO)的世界文化遺產登錄標準，並對我國文獻遺產保護工作進行反思，最後提出六項具體的建議。

This paper mainly discusses the current status of preserving the documentary heritage in Taiwan. The significance and scope of documentary heritage are defined at the outset. The UNESCO register criteria for world cultural heritage are then described and combined into our discussion. With reference to the background knowledge associated with documentary heritage, our discussion makes an attempt to point out problems encountered on the task of preserving the documentary heritage in Taiwan, and furthermore, proposes six practical suggestions for the problems.
