Complication from Colon Hydrotherapy: A Case Report

Alternative medicine has become widely publicized throughout the world. Colonic hydrotherapy is one of the many techniques recommended for toxin removal and health rejuvenation. We present the case of a patient who developed peritoneum & retroperitoneum gangrene after the sigmoid colon diverticulum was perforated following colonic hydrotherapy.
