論王熙元的穀梁學研究

摘要

王熙元先生的穀梁學著作計有11種，其中以《穀梁范注發微》、《穀梁著述考徵》兩書最為重要。王氏的穀梁學研究以「范注、《穀梁》、《春秋》、孔子」的四段式思維脈絡為其基本觀念，在研究進路上採取了「援《公羊》以推《穀梁》」、「述經傳以補范注」、「引義例以解注文」、「列諸說以論斷」、「列異說以存疑」等方法，提出了「《穀梁》成書早於《公羊》」、「浮丘伯為著《穀梁》於竹帛者」、「《春秋》有義例，且《春秋》之義見於變例」等主張。其著作雖略有「羅列諸說而未下案斷語，於著述體例或有不一」、「若干案斷語主張，猶有待商榷之處」、「以文獻的形式研究為主，而少內容意義的闡發」等三種未盡之處，但仍具有「考徵穀梁學的歷代著述，而具開創之功」、「勾勒穀梁學發展史略，而具奠基之功」、「考證《穀梁傳》作者，而具轉精之功」、「考訂范甯之生平事蹟，而具論斷之功」、「專研細究《穀梁集解》，而具發微之功」等五大學術貢獻，為目前臺灣學界最有功於穀梁學研究者。

Wiang Xi-Yuan王熙元peoduced 11 books on the comentaries and eritiques of Guliang-ism.穀梁學 Amongst which Galiang Fan Zhu Fawei穀梁范注發微and Guliang Zhushu Kao Zheng穀梁著述考徵 held the utmost impontance. Wang Xi-Yuan based his study of Guliang-ism on Fan Zhu范注( the annotation and analysis of Guliang Zhuan穀梁傳 by Fan Ning范甯), Guliing Zhwaw (the commentary on Chunqiu春秋), Chunqiu (the Spring and Autumn Annals), and the teachings of Confucius. The method of his research included using Gowyang Zhuan公羊傳 as an example to support and verify the content of Guliang Zhuan: citing ocher Jings經 and Zhuans傳 (the Confacian classies) as a supplenment source or Fan Zhu; refering to the original philosophy and principles of Chungiu to explain the annotations and analysis; quoting theories of great minds to form judgements and raising questionis about dissidence to give reasanable doubt. Wang believes Guliang Zhuan was written befoce Gongang Zhaun by Fu Qiu Bo浮丘伯 and Chuqiu can be classified into theories and principles that were further validated by exceptions. Though Wang's study on Guliang-ism included the thinking of many master minds, it lacked conclusions. The format used in his publication also varied. Some of his analysis were too emphatic and his study was mostly on the analysis of the format but not the content of Guliang Zhuan. However, there is no denying Wang's contribution to the study on Guliang ism. First of all, he pioneered in scrupuloasly validating and verifying the works about Gulian-ism. Second, his effort outlined the historical development of Guliang-ism and formed the foundation for further studies. Third, his discovery of the author of Guliang Zhuan took the study of Guliang-ism onto another level. Fourth, he studied and commented on the life of Fan Ning. Fifth, he explored the details of Guliang Jijie穀梁集解(collected Annotations of Spring and Autumn Gu-Liang) in-depch, allowing followers to better understand Guliang Zhuan. Wang Xi-Yuan is undoubtedly the master on Guliang-ism in Taiwan.
