A 56-ear-old marine fishman of vibrio vulnificus, the bacterium associated with septicemia was presented. One day before admission, he suffered from marine fish injury over the left foot. Under the impression of necrotizing fascitis from the left foot to the left thigh with septic shock, he underwent high above-knee amputation immediately. The blood culture showed vibrio vulnificus growth. However, the occupational medicine in Taiwan, the vibrio vulnificus associated septicemia was uncommon.
