雷射與電刀廣泛為醫學界所使用,所產生的燻煙可能引起不適,潛在影響手術室工作人員的健康。本調查的目的在瞭解燻煙中塵的濃度,含有何種化學物質,以及探討一種市售排煙的效器。我們選取六間手術室和一處理護站進行總粉塵和可呼吸性粉塵的區域採樣,其中皮膚科房的採樣分為兩個階段,一段利用附在雷射機上的抽引管來排煙,另一段利用Buffalo filter 602 來排煙;此外並在皮膚科和一般外科房進行化學物質的採樣。調查結悲果顯示燻煙中的粉塵濃度未超過我國法定厭惡性粉塵的容許濃度;燻煙和空氣的混合物含有多種極微量的有機物質;而Buffalo filter 602在短距離內能夠有效的排除燻煙。
Laser and electrocautery fume might be hazardous to the health of operation room personnel in the hospital. The study is aimed to understand the dust concentrations and chemical substances within the fume, and to investigate if a commercially available smoke evacuator can get rid of the fume effectively, Area sampling proceeded in six operation rooms and a nursing station. In the dermatological room, sampling was performed first without and then with a Buffalo filter 602. be-sides, fume collected in two rooms was analysed for organic substances. Our results showed that the concentrations of total and respirable dusts lied within legal limits, and the fume contained minute amounts of organic substances. The buffalo filter 602, when placed near surgical field, can evacuate the fume effectively.
