單一靜脈穿刺採集多管血液檢體,血鉛濃度之差異比較

摘要


目標:本研究目的是為避免採血過程,採血工具之微量鉛污染的可能,因而藉由此實驗方法,探討單一靜脈穿剌同時採集多管血液檢體,血鉛濃度是否有所差異。 方法:共計有18名研究對象納入本研究,檢體收集是以無菌採血針頭(Monoject 216blood collection needles)進行靜脈穿剌再以內含Sodium Heparin抗凝固劑之真空採血管(Becton Dickinson vacutainer systems)收集血液,每名研究對象依序抽取前、中、後三段三支血液樣本,共計有54支血液檢體,放置於4°C冷藏保存。血中鉛的測量,係利用石墨爐原子吸收光譜儀(Graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometer;GFAAS)來測定。 結果:研究對象血液樣本之血鉛分析時間間隔從0.03個月至21.7月。其結果若以平滑曲線圖來看,研究對象之血液樣本,在前、中、後三段血液之血鉛濃度比較上,呈現相似的分佈。另以GEE(generalized estimating equation)分析模式發現,血液樣本在儲存時間因素上以及三段採血管之採血先後順序因素上均未對血鉛含量造成顯著的影響。結論:以真空採血方式進行血液採集,同時收取研究對象前、中、後三段血液,由結果來看並未造成血鉛濃度顯著的差異,因此在採血過程中採血器材微量鉛污染的顧慮應可排除。

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to assess potential impacts of minor lead contamination on the results of Blood Lead Levels (BLLs) when collecting blood samples from venipuncture. Methods: Blood samples were collected from 15 non-lead exposed college students and 3 factory workers who had potential lead exposure. Three tubes of blood specimens were taken consecutively from each of these 18 participants by using sterilized needles (Monoject 216 blood collection needles). Each vacuum tube contained sodium heparin as anticoagulant and all of the blood specimen were kept at 4°C. BLLs was analyzed by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometer (GFAAS). Results: The interval between specimen storage and performance of laboratory BLL analysis in the 54 samples ranged from 0.03 to 21.7 months. The distribution of BLLs was nearly identical across the samples subjected to a variety of different tubes based on the display of smoothing curves. Moreover, no significant differences were found in the BLLs across different blood samples, regardless of how long the samples had been kept and the order that blood specimen were taken. Conclusion: Based on what we found, when collecting blood samples, the impacts of minor lead contamination on BLLs may be negligible.
