Acute glaucoma also developed in hemodialysis patients. Several studies revealed hemodialysis may increase intraocular pressure. Therefore other causes of glaucoma were ignored in hemodialysis patients. Cytomegalovirus infection frequently attacks immunocompromised patients, including of uremic patients. We reported two case of acute glaucoma in hemodialysis patients. After a series of studies, cytomegalovirus uveitis was diagnosed. After gancyclovir therapy, intraocular pressure and visual acuity improved dramatically.
