主管視角內隱追隨量表的發展與測量

The Development and Examination of Implicit Followership Scale from the Perspective of Leaders

摘要


追隨力的研究已成為領導領域中的一項新興研究議題,本研究的主要目的是要探討組織領導者認知的部屬追隨力,建立一份主管視角的內隱追隨量表。研究一發展以主管視角出發之組織領導者內隱追隨量表,包含顧全大局、尊敬順從、認真盡責以及出謀獻策等四個構面。研究二則運用結構方程式檢驗內隱追隨的影響效果,研究結果顯示,當主管對部屬的期待是認真盡責,以及為主管出謀獻策時,會對部屬的工作績效表現產生正向的影響,並進而對部屬的晉升力評分也會有顯著且正向的提升。最後本研究亦針對研究結果進行理論和實務意涵的討論。

The study of following has become an emerging research topic in the field of leadership. The main purpose of this study is to explore the subordinate followership perceived by leaders of Taiwan and Chinese organizations and establish an implicit followership scale. In study 1, we develop the Implicit Followership Questionnaire (IFQ). Confirmatory factor analyses supported a multidimensional measure of implicit followership with four dimensions: holistic thinking, respectful, conscientious, advice giving. In study 2, we examine the consequences of implicit followership by conducting structural equation modeling (SEM). The results show that the supervisor expects the subordinates to be more conscientious and advice giving, the better task performance of the subordinates will be. Furthermore, the higher promotability ratings by the supervisor. Implications for research and practice are discussed.
