摘要


本文敘述鎂合金特性、優點、工業應用及表面處理技術,表面處理技術包括表面預清洗(機械清洗與化學清洗)、化成處理(鉻酸鹽、磷酸鹽與非鉻系化成處理)、電鍍、無電鍍鎳、陽極氧化處理、噴漆塗裝及表面改質技術(如離子植入、PVD/CVD、雷射熔煉)等。鎂之質輕、高強度、成本效益與環保因素皆使鎂於工業界異軍突起。在全球新興市場上,鎂合金壓鑄件於汽車工業、3C產業(Computer, Communication and consumer’s electronics)、航太/國防工業、民生器械產業及自行車產業之應用前景一直被看好、但在表面處理方面仍面臨甚多挑戰。非鉻系化成處理,更具耐磨耗及電解腐蝕保護之厚被覆物及基於美觀裝飾之表面處理技術皆為目前與未來極待解決之問題,也是業者須正視之問題。

This article describes the characters, advantages, industrial applications and surface treatment technologies of magnesium alloys. The surface treatment technologies of magnesium alloys including surface pretreatment, chemical conversion coating (chromate, phosphate, and non-chrome chemical converting coating treatment), electroplating, electroless nickel plating, anodizing treatment, painting and surface modification (including ion implantation, laser alloying and remelting as well as PYD/CYD). The light weight, high intensity/rigidity, cost effective and environ mental beneficial characters of magnesium alloys make magnesium industries prosperous in the industrial market. The future perspective of magnesium alloy die castings in the automobile industries, computer, communication and consumer's electronics, aerospace/defense industries, machinery industries and bicycle industries are very optimistic. However, the surface treatment technologies for magnesium alloys still face many challenges. Non-chrome chemical converting coatings, more abrasive, thick galvanic corrosion resistance coatings, and decorative and good outer appearance surface treatment technologies are the problems facing the magnesium industries which should be solved very urgently and should be faced and overcome by the cooperation of magnesium die casting industries, machinery manufacturers and materials suppliers.
