摘要

本文研究如何在鍛造工廠建立強而有力的設計、規劃、通訊及生產管理系統。在鍛造工廠使用整合性產品資料管理(PDM)軟體工具須同時考慮技術與組織兩個層面的問題，透過使用資訊流程引入的過程，PDM對鍛造工廠的設計及群體工作的影響會逐漸顯示出來，本文使用台灣一家鍛造工廠的實際範例，探討建置PDM的步驟以及對原有工作的影響。

A concept is presented for facilitating design, planning, communication, and production management on the forging factories. The integration of product data management (PDM) software tools into the forging factories requires both technical and organizational considerations. Using an information processing paradigm, the impact of PDM on the design process and group activities are assessed. Using ongoing work with a forging company in Taiwan as an example, the steps of constructing a product data management system and effects for the forging factories is examined.
