《成語典》之「釋義」編輯理念析述

摘要


在語文教育裡,成語從來都不曾被忽視,古代蒙書《幼學瓊林》即蒐錄不少成語詞目,並有精簡的語義說解。至於現代所出版的成語辭書則更如雨後春筍般湧現。就工具書的編撰而言,提供精準詳實的內容固然是編輯者追求的目標;然而如何吸引更多的讀者使用,同樣也在考驗著編輯團隊的智慧。現今人們的生活大都離不開網際網路,除了電腦,舉凡平板、智慧型手機等都可上網瀏覽資訊。編輯者若能充分利用這種輕易取得資訊的途徑,自然可以開拓出廣大的讀者群;更何況今日的數位環境已能提供更大的儲存空間,資料甚且可相互連結。是以在此數位環境下所編寫的內容,自可展現出不同的風貌。

In Chinese education, idioms have never been ignored. "YouXue Qionglin", which was specially used to educate children to read, included a lot of idioms, and made condensed semantic explanations. As for the idiom dictionaries published in modern times, there are even more numerous. For the compilation of reference books, how to provide accurate and detailed content and attract more readers is also testing the wisdom of the editorial team. Nowadays, people can browse information on the Internet through computers and smart phones. If editors can make good use of it, they can open up a broad readership. what's more, today's digital environment can already provide more storage space, and data can even be interconnected. Therefore, the content written in this digital environment can show different styles.
