新羅慧超《往五天竺國傳》語言研究擧隅

A Linguistic Case Study on Shil-la Hye-cho's ＂Wang O Cheon Chuk Guk Jeon＂

摘要

1908年法國Pelliot（伯希和）在中國甘肅省敦煌莫高窟裡發現《往五天竺國傳》的寫本，並將其公諸於世。韓、中、日三國學者皆對這部來之不易的卷著投予莫大的關注，特别是日本學者對此研究更是格外踊躍。有關《往五天竺國傳》的研究方向主要為：（1）文化研究，（2）世界史研究，（3）文獻學研究，（4）《往五天竺國傳》的整體研究，（5）《往五天竺國傳》考釋、譯注等方面之研究。我們原先意欲根據《往五天竺國傳》的文本，從語言角度分析中國近代語法和中介語的特徵，但在分析的過程中，我們遇到了一個問題，即各個學者對部分原文解釋持不同意見。例如，有的字還尚未被確切地辨別，所以在解釋原文時出現了不同的看法。因此，我們在開始分析語法結構和中介語現象之前，不得不先對《往五天竺國傳》展開校勘工作。《往五天竺國傳》共227行，由於本文篇幅有限，僅對1～114行的異體字、缺漏字提出分析，從而進一步整理出過去研究中尚未涉及到的，或者本研究初次發現的異體字、缺漏字、漢字辦認、斷句以及中介語詞彙等研究課題。

French sinologist Paul Eugène Pelliot discovered the manuscript of ＂Wang O Cheon Chuk Guk Jeon＂ at the Mògāo Caves (Mògāo Kū) of Dunhuang in Gansu province, China, which was known to the world by his reporting to the academic community. This text has been keenly studied by the Korean, Chinese, Japanese researchers since then. Among them, Japanese researchers are the most active ones.The current methodologies of studying ＂Wang O Cheon Chuk Guk Jeon＂ are as follows: (1) studying it from the aspect of literature; (2) studying it from the aspect of world history; (3) studying it from the aspect of philosophy; (4) overall study of ＂Wang O Cheon Chuk Guk Jeon＂; (5) interpretation and translation of the text.While this article was originally planned to study the modern Chinese grammar and inter-language phenomenon in ＂Wang O Cheon Chuk Guk Jeon＂, we found that the interpretation of ＂Wang O Cheon Chuk Guk Jeon＂ should be first clarified. The first reason for this is that many characters in the text were not correctly identified.The second reason is that the translations of some phrases were not identical. The third reason is that some phrases which have inter-language phenomenon had not yet been fully translated.The ＂Wang O Cheon Chuk Guk Jeon＂ manuscript consists of 227 lines. Due to the limit of the article length, we only present the study from the first to 114th line. This thesis covers the analysis of the popular forms of Chinese characters, the lacking of characters, recognition of Chinese character, analyzing pauses in reading by lines, translation in Korean and inter-language phenomenon analysis.
