乳酸與延遲性肌肉酸痛的關係

The Role of Lactic Acids in Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness

摘要


本研究的目的在探討運動後乳酸堆積與延遲性肌肉酸痛(delayed onset muscle soreness,簡稱DOMS)的關係。身體健康的大學男生10位為受試對象,平均年齡21.2±1.99歲,身高176.2±7.13公分,體重70.7±8.75Kg。對受試者的非慣用手施以離心收縮動作來誘發延遲性肌肉酸痛,並於運動前、運動後4分鐘、24、48、72小時後抽血分析血漿乳酸値,並測量肱二頭肌、肱橈肌的疼痛指數和肘關節的伸展角度。資料以皮爾遜積差相關法作統計分析。結果發現:在運動結束後4分鐘之血漿乳酸濃度最高(9.3±2.93mmole/L),顯著高於其他時間。肘關節伸展角度則在運動後48小時最小(111.0±17.2°),肱二頭肌疼痛指數在48小時最高(2.9±1.14),肱橈肌則在72小時達到最高(2.9±2.20)。血漿乳酸與疼痛指數、肘關節的伸展角度均無顯著的相關存在(r=-0.31和-0.06)。結論:運動後血乳酸的濃度與延遲性肌肉酸痛的發生無顯著關係,所以延遲性肌肉酸痛可能不是乳酸所造成,而是其他的原因所致。

It is still widely believed in the exercise and sports community that lactic acids acidosis is the main cause of muscle soreness, even though a number of observations indirectly indicate this is may not the case. The purpose of this study was to test the hypothesis that delay onset muscle soreness (DOMS) is directly related to the level of plasma lactic acid after eccentric exercise. Ten health active males, age 21.1±1.99yrs, height 176.2±7.13cm and body weight 70.6±8.75Kg, served as subject. DOMS was initiated with eccentric exercise on the non-dominant arm. Venous blood samples was collected and rang of motion were measured on each subject prior to and at 4min, 24, 48, and 72 hours after the eccentric exercise. The results demonstrated that severe DOMS may result from eccentric exercise but is not accompanied by high blood lactic acids leves this cast doubt on the validity of the lactic acid hypothesis on DOMS. CONCLUSION: DOMS is not a results of lactic acids build up in the body, and may be caused by other physiological factors.
