不同類型運動對類風濕性關節炎症狀之影響

The Impact of Different Types of Exercise on Rheumatoid Arthritis Symptoms

摘要


類風濕性關節炎是一種慢性、全身性自體免疫疾病,除了造成關節之疼痛、僵直、失能外,亦會出現心血管疾病、肌肉無力等症狀。本文藉由文獻整理發現規律運動訓練能減緩類風濕性關節炎患者之症狀,研究結果更進一步指出,耐力運動訓練能改善患者之心肺功能,阻力運動訓練能改善肌力及肌耐力、柔軟度。本文也藉由文獻比較阻力、耐力及結合阻力與耐力運動訓練之效益,結果發現三種不同運動方式對類風濕性關節炎各有不同的益處。最後,本文提供不同運動方式的合適內容與處方,期望能提供患者作為運動訓練之參考,並鼓勵患者參與規律的運動訓練。

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic systemic autoimmune disease that causes not only pain, stiffness and limited function of many joints, but also cardiovascular diseases, muscle weakness and other symptoms. Recent studies have reported that endurance training can improve cardiorespiratory fitness while resistance training can improve muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. In the paper, we discussed the current understanding about the role of exercise in rheumatoid arthritis management, and compared the outcomes of different types of exercise intervention in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. This review provides recommendation of exercise programs for patients with rheumatoid arthritis as well as encourages them to participate in regular exercise.
