摘要

本文的特點，在於比較詳細地論述宋真宗、遼承天太后、遼聖宗生辰與哀喪的交聘活動情形，期使讀者能更加了解宋與遼在訂立澶淵盟約初期，雙方都能以誠摯的態度與維持和平外交的心意，進行各項的交聘活動，爲後來宋遼長期的和平關係奠定了良好的基礎。

This article is a detailed discussion of the sending of Embassies of Congratulation and Condolences by the Song to the Liao, following the conclusion of the Treaty of Shanyuan between the Song and the Liao in 1004-5.
