A Solitary Cutaneous Nodule Revealing Signet-Ring Cell Adenocarcinoma-A Case Report and Literature Review
Signet-ring Cell腺癌以單一皮膚腫瘤爲表徵－一病例報告及文獻回顧
摘要
signet-ring cell乃是由於某種物質在細胞內囤積，將細胞核推擠到細胞邊緣所造成的非特異性的理象。Signet-ring cell常被視爲腺癌的證據，且在皮膚區域，他們通常表示來自內臟器官的轉移性病竈。在此我們提出一例轉移性signet-ring cell腺癌的病例報告，一名五十六歲男性病患以單一皮膚腫癌爲表徵，一開始時沒有任何臨床證據顯示患有內臟器官的惡性腫癌，然而最後證實爲隱藏的胃腺癌。腫瘤在病理學上的特徵以主處理治療的原則都加以描述，並回顧相關的文獻資料作一個整理。

Signet ring cells are formed by intracytoplasmic accumulations of various substances that push the nucleus to the cellular border. Signet ring cells are regarded as evidence of adenocarcinoma, and in the cutaneous region, they often indicate a metastatic lesion from a visceral organ. Here we report a case of metastatic signet ring cell adenocarcinoma in a 56-year-old male present as a solitary cutaneous nodule without evidence of a visceral origin at the beginning, but an occult gastric adenocarcinoma was proved finally. The pathological characteristics and management are described and the previous literatures are also reviewed.
