Treatment of Axillary Bromidrosis-A Combination of Suction-assisted Lipectomy and Subdermal Apocrine Glands Shaving Procedures

摘要

在東方人的禮節中，「狐臭」是個惱人的毛病。保守的藥物療法雖然安全，但效果短暫，且對嚴重狐臭患者幾乎無效。文獻中一致認為只有外科療法可以治療狐臭，而且是長久有效的。我們在2005年以合併抽脂及旋轉刮刀的手術方法治療了51名狐臭病患（男／女＝14/37）。手術只需在腋下使用一個0.5公分的切口便可將腋下的頂漿腺吸除或刮除，治療結果可有效去除腋下異味，且病人滿意度高(91.84%)。術後照顧簡單，而且併發症的發生率低。因為此種手術方法操作容易，且頂漿腺去除率高，手術結果令人滿意，併發症多屬輕微，故可大力推薦給為狐臭所苦的病患。

Axillary bromidrosis is a troublesome problem in social association in a close space, especially in Asians. Medical treatment is safe and conservative, but only useful in mild axillary bromidrosis with a temporary effect. Surgical methods have been proved to be the most long-term treatment. We present our experience for the treatment of axillary bromidrosis with tumescent liposuction and endoscopic shaving.
From a total of 51 patients (M/F: 14/37) were treated surgically for axillary bromidrosis in single surgeon experience in 2005. The surgical method is the combination of tumescent liposuction and endoscopic shaving procedures. After one tiny incision about 0.5cm over upper edge of mid-axillary crease, subcutaneous liposuction and subdermal shaving are performed to remove axillary apocrine glands.
The result showed great malodor elimination and high patient satisfaction. The post-operative care is relative easy with less complication rate.
This surgical procedure is easy to be performed, effective malodor elimination and least complication rate. It is highly recommended to patients with axillary bromidrosis.
