Since 2007, social enterprises development has been one of the agenda items in the annual Policy Address by the Chief Executive of Hong Kong government. The purpose of this paper was to inform the Christian faith community on how to capitalize on this development for positive societal change. The method adopted was the practical theological reflection framework includes the experience from the case of Fullness Christian Social Enterprise, the socio-analytical meditation on the poverty problem in Hong Kong, the hermeneutical meditation on sharing culture, and practical meditation on city transformation. The reflection concluded that social enterprise can have five unique competitive advantages that other small-medium enterprise will not have; and these advantages are due to the 'meaningfulness' of the social value creation of social enterprises. Christian community can is well positioned as a source of these unique advantages. The social enterprise movement can be a platform for faith seeking social changes.
