遊憩管理專業化之研究

A Study on the Professionalization of Recreation Management

摘要


休閒遊憩事業係屬服務業之一環,其對人力需求殷切,然這些人力資源是否專業化並足以擔任其相關管理工作,將影響休閒遊憩事業能否步入正軌,加強休閒遊憩之專業人才培訓,及了解目前國內遊憩管理專業化之發展現況,為目前休閒遊憩產業當務之急。本研究之目的在於了解產(公、民營遊憩區)、官(政府行政督導單位)、學(學校單位)界中,對於遊憩管理專業化定位、遊憩管理課程需求、及其工作態度等議題之看法。以作為未來培育遊憩管理專業人才及定義遊憩管理專業工作內涵時,能有一更明確之參考依據。根據本研究實證結果發現:產、官、學三界皆認為本研究所研擬之十項遊憩管理工作皆為遊憩區經營管理上急待專業化的工作。換言之,產、官、學三界均將上述的管理工作定位於遊憩管理之專業範疇中;對於遊憩管理專業化之條件,多持正面肯定之看法;對於遊憩管理教育課程,產、官、學三界多認為是專業人才必備的智能之一;至於工作態度則多持正面的態度。除此之外,產、官、學對於遊憩管理專業性之認知並無顯著差異;而對於專業化條件認知、遊憩管理專業課程及工作態度中的項目,則部分呈現顯著差異。換言之,由於產、官、學界工作屬性上之不同,對於其所需求之課程訓練、專業化條件認知及工作態度,可能就會有所不同。因此,未來唯有透過產、官、學界繼續彼此溝通、合作,才能使遊憩管理逐漸邁向專業化。

Recreation industry is one of the service business, which requires a lot of professional manpower to effectively operate the business. However, if this manpower is professional or not would lead to success or failure management of recreation industry. Therefore, reinforcement in the training of professional manpower and efficient delivery of the manpower to the job market are the major concerned issues in the development of recreation industry. The purposes of this paper were to investigate the viewpoints from managers, government officials and scholars on the issues of how professional the recreation management positions are, how necessary the training programs are and what the career attitudes should be. The study results were expected to offer a clear reference for the issues of professional positioning in recreation management. According to the study results, respondents from managers, government officials and scholars basically agreed that recreation management is a professional career, conditions for defining recreation management as professional were supported, courses in the training programs were necessary, and attitudes toward recreation career were positive. In addition, some further statistical tests on the differences among the respondents have shown that no significant differences were found among managers, government officials and scholars in terms of their perceptions of how professional the recreation management is. Although some significant differences were found among respondents in the viewpoints of professional conditions, training courses and attitudes toward recreation career, the differences were based on the level of agreement. It may indicate that respondents from different fields may have different emphasis on their own requirements, and consequently, communication and cooperation among these fields are definitely important in order to enhance professional recreation management.
