The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of early-life outdoor experience on environmental attitude, activity involvement and environmental behavior and further examine the mediated role of activity involvement between environmental attitude and behavior. Data were collected on-site via questionnaires, aiming at visitors of Yangmingshan National Park aged 18 above as research participants. Among 400 questionnaires distributed, 335 valid questionnaires were received. Data were then analyzed by SPSS11.0 for descriptive statistics and LISREL8.54 for confirmatory factor analysis and model examination. The results revealed that there were significant and positive relationships between early-life outdoor experience and environmental attitude, activity involvement and environmental behavior. However, the relationship between environmental attitude and activity involvement is not significant. Activity involvement does not play a mediated role between environmental attitude and environmental behavior. Finally, managerial implications as well as suggestion for future researches are also discussed.
