摘要

客家名稱起源於中古後期，但是客家語言有關詞彙的文獻卻遲至清朝嘉慶年間的《石窟一徵》才有專書問世，接著是光緒年間的《嘉應州志》、《客話本字》；民國初年的《客方言》以及日治時期的《客家基礎語彙集》等等，之後便是今人編輯的客家辭典與客家縣志。本文擬分析自嘉慶以來，一直到現代，海峽兩岸在一二百年當中詞彙的發展走向：一、詞義演變原因與結果。二、詞形演變原因與結果。三、詞彙的變與不變。四、詞彙的新語詞。

The name ”Hakka” originated at later ancient times; however, the documents and the book ”石窟一徵” which are related to vocabularies of Hakka dialect appeared until Cha-ching in Chin dynasty. ”嘉應州志”, ”客話本字” followed in Kuang-shu. Then ”客方言” in earlier Ming-guo times, ”客家基礎語匯集” in Japan-governed period published later. This essay focuses on the development trend of vocabularies of dialect of Taiwan and China in about recent 200 years. First for the causes and consequences of evolvement of words meaning. Second for the causes and consequences of evolvement of words pattern. Third for the alteration of vocabularies. Fourth for the new words of vocabularies.
