The purpose of this experiment is to explore characteristics of music during the classical period using piano-solo musics as samples. The three melody elements of these samples rhythm, amplitude and scale were estimated using computer software and metronome. The results indicate that there exists a tendency that both meanings of music composition and creative performance agree with each other well. In addition, fast rhythm pace coincide with enthusiastic behaviour while slow rhythm pace with serious behaviour. High and low amplitudes relates to excitement and peacefulness respectively. High and low pitches relate to enthusiastic and serious and hesitate behaviours respectively.
