At least 24 families and 956 species of moth have been found in FEF. A list of 75 species of larger moths, including 34 species of Bombycoidea (3 species of Eupteroidae, 6 species of Bombycidae, 13 species of Lasiocampidae, I species of Brahmaeidae, 11 species of Saturniidae) and 41 species of Sphingoidea (41 species of Sphingidae) collected from FEF, is provided. Hawkmoth (Sphingidae) diversity studies conducted in different areas of Taiwan are compared and discussed.
