摘要

王重民先生(1903-1975)是中國近代著名版本目錄學專家。自1939至1947年鑑定整理美國國會圖書館館藏中文古籍，其成果彙集爲《美國國會圖書館藏中國善本書錄》二冊，收六朝唐寫本，宋金元明善本共1,777種，於1957年由美國國會圖書館在華盛頓出版，中國大陸因當時與美國阻隔，此書甚少見到。文革後，其遺稿《中國善本書提要》經訂正出版，共收錄北京圖書館（現中國國家圖書館）、北京大學圖書館和美國國會圖書館三館所藏善本約四千四百餘種。近年筆者參加美國國會圖書館中文善本書數位化整理項目，有幸親睹該館豐富典藏，重新檢閱當年王重民前輩所鑑定諸書，得益非淺；然其中亦發現一些訛誤疏漏，可作補充商榷，整理撰寫爲〈王重民《美國國會圖書館藏中國善本書錄》訂補〉後，從王著中陸續又檢出一些訛誤疏漏應作補充並可商榷，計38種，現釐爲33條再作訂補。

Wang, Chung-Min (1903-1975) was one of the famous professionals of bibliographical study in China. He appraised and arranged the Chinese rare books collected in the Library of Congress from 1939 to 1947 as two volumes of A Descriptive Catalog of Rare Chinese Books in the Library of Congress, which were published in Washington, DC, 1957. The publication was seldom seen in China because of the disconnection with the United States of America. After the Cultural Revolution, the posthumous papers Abstracts of Rare Chinese Books was published which included more than 4400 titles collected in Pei-Ching Library, Library of Pei-Ching University, and the Library of Congress.
