古籍是中華文化的瑰寶,是古人奮鬥和創作的文化結晶,也是中華文化的重要組成部分。古籍作為人類知識的傳承,有著無可替代的史料價值,隨著時間與環境的變化,古籍更需要妥善的保護,許多研究指出了古籍保護的重要性。即便如此,過度保護與過度利用的觀念都未免失之偏頗,因此,古籍之「藏」與「用」的關係,一直是圖書館與各界探討的一個重要課題。古籍保護需要人才,古籍整理更需要人才,現今數位化時代的來臨,將傳統圖書館網路化、數位化成為必然的趨勢。古籍保護工作既是對圖書館人才的挑戰,也是圖書館培養人才的契機。本研究將探討目前兩岸古籍部門的服務內容、古籍人才需要具備多少專業技能,及古籍人才的缺乏對於古籍部門的影響,並且經過相關文獻內容,總結出人才培養的重要性及人才培養所遭遇的困難,提出解決的方案提供各界參考。研究結果顯示,國內的古籍人才非常短缺,且要成為一個專業精湛的古籍工作者,需要經過長期磨練並且有一定程度的實戰經驗,選擇人員絕不能是臨時性的。在讀者服務方面,古籍閱覽室的管理者則必須具備電腦知識、掌握現代化服務的基本素養。
Ancient books are the treasures of Chinese culture, the cultural crystallization of the struggle and creation of the ancients, and also an important part of Chinese culture. As the inheritance of human knowledge, ancient books have irreplaceable historical value. With the change of time and environment, ancient books need to be properly protected. Many researches point out the importance of the protection of ancient books. Even so, the concept of over-protection and over-utilization is rather biased. Therefore, the relationship between "collection" and "use" of ancient books has been an important topic discussed by libraries and all circles. The protection of ancient books needs talents, and the arrangement of ancient books needs talents more. With the advent of the digital age, it is an inevitable trend to network and digitize the traditional library. The preservation of ancient books is not only a challenge to library talents, but also an opportunity for libraries to cultivate talents. This study would discuss the ancient books on both sides of the Taiwan department of service content, ancient books requires many professional skills, and a lack of ancient talents for the influence of the department of ancient books, and through relevant literature content, summarizes the importance of the cultivation of talents and the difficulties in talent cultivation put forward solutions to provide reference. The research results show that there is a shortage of ancient book talents in Taiwan, and to become a professional ancient book worker, one needs to go through long-term training and have a certain degree of practical experience, and the selection of personnel must not be temporary. In the aspect of reader service, the manager of ancient books reading room must have computer knowledge and grasp the basic quality of modern service.
