Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) has received great attention, however, the construct characteristic of OCB has not been empirically examined. Current study collected data from 371 employees within a manufactory in People's Republic of China and, then, analyzed with structural equation modeling. Result demonstrates that model of aggregate construct as effect fits reasonably well in dataset than model of latent construct as effect. Moreover, in model of aggregate construct as effect, the relationship of job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior is statistically significant while insignificant in model of latent construct as effect. Possible explanations and future suggestions are discussed.
