With the increased appreciation of human right and rapid change of social value, medical health providers have to constantly modify their services to meet patients' need. In addition, medical staffs emphasize more on the issue of informed Consent nowadays. Nursing staffs, standing in the front line of caring, have to face the issue of ”informed consent” more often. However, due to the complex and diverse clinical working environment, nursing staff often face various ethical dilemmas when they try to keep patients well informed. This article discussed issues related to ethical dilemma of informed consent and proposed coping strategies for dealing with this issue.
