2007年台東大學學生對學校滿意度及教學意見之調查研究

A Study on Students' Satisfaction with School and Comments on Teaching at National Taitung University in 2007

摘要


本校從2000年3月至2007年4月,前後共進行七次「學生對行政單位的滿意度」普查,前四次調查學生對整體行政單位平均滿意度在五等量表中有逐次提升之趨勢,但2005年的調查結果,由於學生對於學校選課系統、升旗制度及學生參加學校活動等議題有許多不滿,故致當年度行政滿意度呈現小幅下跌(3.25→3.21),為七次調查中唯一滿意度下跌。本次2007年調查學校的整體行政滿意度從2000年的3.02進步到3.32,亦為這七次調查滿意度最高的一次。學生對整體教學單位的滿意度,亦從2003年的3.10,提升到2007年的3.23。 就本次調查而言,在行政單位中,學生仍對圖書館滿意度(3.67)最高。在大學部的教學單位中,幼教系學生對本系的滿意度最高(3.92);在碩士班及研究所的教學單位中,南島所學生對本所的滿意度最高(4.35)。 學生在開放式問卷中對於校務運作及教學措施,反應對學校的不滿與建議主要如下: 1、教務處選課系統、選課程序有待加強改進。 2、系所及通識課程排課太集中,以致衝堂嚴重。 3、系所師資、課程與教學設施不足,嚴重影響學習品質。 4、圖書館館藏及專業書籍嚴重不足,有待積極充實。 5、師範學院在教學資源及經費分配,應力求公平、公開。 6、行政人員服務態度及整體行政效率有待提升。 7、知本校區建設尚未完善,搬遷時程未妥善規劃。

Seven annual surveys on ”Students' Satisfaction of School Administration” were undertaken at National Taitung University (NTTU) from 2000 to 2007. Students' average scores of satisfaction with all the administration department had increased gradually on a five-point scale in the first four surveys. However, the survey in 2005 showed a slightly decrease from 3.25 to 3.21 as compared with it in 2004 and was the only time it decreased among the seven surveys, because students were displeased with the online course registration system, the flag raising ritual and forcing them to participate in the school activities. The average score in 2007 was the highest one among the seven surveys, improving from 3.02 to 3.31 as compared with that in 2000. Student's satisfaction with all the academic departments improved from 3.10 to 3.23 as compared with that in 2003. The survey in 2007 demonstrated that students still have the greatest satisfaction with the Library (3.67) among all the administrations departments, while the Department of Early Childhood Education got the highest satisfaction (3.98) among all the undergraduate programs. Among graduate institutes and Master programs, the Graduate Institute of Austronesian Studies won the highest (4.35) satisfaction. In terms of the administrative services and instructional support, students made the following suggestions and complaints: 1. Improve the online course enrollment system and operating procedures 2. Conflicting class schedules between general education courses and professional courses 3. Poor faculty, courses and teaching equipment 4. Expand the library collections and professional volumes 5. Teachers college should deal out resources and supplies fairly to each department 6. Promote administrative services and efficiency 7. Improve Jhih-ben campus facilities and removal planning
