《荀子．大略篇》楊倞注之探討

《荀子》書中所論述者，語語平實，不求高遠，要皆以修己治人為依歸，將先秦儒家之內聖外王主張，透過條理分明之解析，以極嚴謹而又信而有徵之文字，博覽參稽，辨合符驗，今日讀之，不但令人深自反省，尤有益於世道人心。視荀子為吾國最具代表性之傑出思想家，孰曰不宜？全書三十二篇，最為後人矚目者有六（〈天論篇〉、〈非十二子篇〉、〈性惡篇〉、〈禮論篇〉、〈解蔽篇〉、〈正名篇〉），其餘二十六篇，則反覆解析，多方論證，各擅勝場，而〈大略篇〉第二十七，則將《荀子》一書，最重要之思想及文字，或另作徵引，或反覆說明，目的則在務明荀書之旨趣。倘能仔細尋索，荀書中之重要處，則可以此而得之。注《荀子》書者，最早為唐憲宗時之楊倞，因前無所承，所以自安其意而失荀書之真者，亦往往有之，故今以楊注〈大略篇〉之有待正補之處，稍作考訂，略作案語，以就教於方家。

The discusser of ”Xunzi” used simple words to state, although these words are not gorgeous, the whole meaning of the book ask the reader to correct self mistake and set a good example in the society. He also used the rigorous and persuasive words by a clear explaination which according to historical works that compares with one another. Today when I read it which not only let people make a self-examination, but also let be good for human's mind. If the public regard ”Xunzi” as a most representative outstanding ideologist in our country, it is appropriate or not?Through the whole book, total has thirty two chapters. The final six chapters are paid more attention by later generations, ”Tian lun pian,” ”Fei shi er zi pian,” ”Xing e pian, Li lun pian,” ”Jie bi pian,” ”Zheng ming pian.” The remaining twenty six chapters, they were analyzed repeatedly and demonstrated in many aspects. Each of them is the succeed passage of ”Xunzi”. In addition, the chapter twenty seven ”Da lue pian” emphasized the importance of the thought and words of ”Xunzi”, which gave other explanations or illustrated repeatedly in order to interpret the major theme of ”Xunzi”. If the readers pay more attention to find out the importance of ”Xunzi”, they can get the satisfied response in the chapter twenty seven.The earliest annotator of ”Xunzi” is Yang Jing who was in the period of Tang Xianzong (Tang dynasty). Before the period of Tang Xianzong, the book ”Xunzi” didn't have any annotation is published, so, after the period, many annotators usually interpreted the ”Xunzi” by their ways which loosed the true meaning of ”Xunzi”. Today, I think that Yang Jing's annotation of ”Tian lun pian”, need to correct and revise, so I make a discussion in order to declare to the public.
