借鑑與轉化：論三部清代入華傳教士漢文報刊的中國文學書寫特徵

Reference and Transformation: Discussion on the writing features of Chinese Literature from three Chinese language newspapers by missionaries in the Qing Dynasty

摘要

本論文以清代早期來華之新教傳教士，所編纂的《察世俗每月統記傳》、《特選撮要每月紀傳》和《東西洋考每月統記傳》三份漢文報刊為主要研究對象。傳教士為了吸引中國讀者，在報刊的外觀上，模仿、套用中國文學樣式，包括：模仿線裝書樣式、援引儒家格言、使用訓詁學術語、套用中國文學體裁等；在報刊的內容上，徵引、化用中國文化內涵，包括：雜揉轉化經典要義、引述中國民間故事等，將福音教義包裝其中，降低中國人的抗拒心理，以便達到傳揚福音的最終目的。

This study uses Chinese newspaper articles of the missionaries in Qing Dynasty as the study material, which include Chinese Monthly Magazine, A Monthly Record of Important Selections and Eastern Western Monthly Magazine. In order to attract Chinese readers, missionaries imitated Chinese literature styles on the appearance of their newspapers and magazines, which include quoted Confucian maxim, use Chinese Exegetics terms, apply Chinese literary genre and etc. And in their contents, quote with Chinese cultural connotation including extent and convert the classical meaning, quoted Chinese folk tales and etc., to include the Christian doctrine within the article and to achieve the final purpose of spreading gospel.
