效化適用於漢族與廣義賽德克族學生科學調適學習問卷

Validation of the Adaptive Learning Engagement in Science Questionnaire for the Han and General Sediq Students

摘要


本研究以翻譯國外學者所編製之「學生科學調適學習問卷」,並效化成可適用於臺灣漢族及廣義賽德克族(註1)學生使用的中文版問卷,以做為科學教育研究者及科學教師從事研究及應用時所須之工具。問卷包括學習目標導向、工作價值、自我效能及自我調整學習四個構念。問卷中題目乃依個別理論內涵發展而來,已建立良好之構念效度。正式施測資料來自4至6年級,共1,268位學生,其中913位為漢族,355位為廣義賽德克族學生。探索式因素分析結果顯示,適當刪題後,中文版問卷具有良好的建構效度。驗證式因素分析結果顯示,各因素有些題目相關性過高。適當刪題後,漢族及賽德克族的問卷,皆具有良好模型配適度。年級比較的結果顯示,漢族及賽德克族學生,從國小四年級到六年級,四個構念都具有下降的趨勢。

The purpose of this study was to validate a questionnaire of students' adaptive learning engagement in science, which is for both the Taiwanese Han and generalized Sediq students. Based on a previous study, The "Students' Adaptive Learning Engagement in Science Questionnaire," was firstly translated into Chinese and validated by means of exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The questionnaire included four constructs: learning goal orientation, work values, self-efficacy and self-regulated learning. All the items involved key determinants of students' motivation and self-regulation in science learning based on theoretical and research underpinnings. Once the questionnaire was translated, the experts revised the statements of the items, and a pilot study was undertaken. The data of the formal survey were collected from 1,268 students across Grades 4 to 6. Nine hundred and thirteen of them were Taiwanese Han and 355 of them were generalized Sediq. EFA of the data suggests that the survey has good construct validity, and CFA of the data proves good model fit after removing several items properly. It shows that this revised questionnaire could be practically valuable as a tool for gathering information of the students' motivation and self-regulation in science learning, especially for the Han and Sediq students. Besides, the result indicated that all the scores of the four constructs decreased as the grade increased, not only Han but Sediq students.
