Community of Human Religions (CHR) is a relatively new concept in theory. However, its basic ideas come from the traditional Chinese culture, which also provided traditional practices to serve as its foundation. Therefore, CHR has not only the backup of profound traditional culture, but also modern feasibility. The traditional Chinese culture is a pluralistic and tolerant culture characteristic of religious nature, with Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism as its main body. Its religious nature has been severely neglected in the past. The Trinity of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism that started since the Tang Dynasty is in fact a rudiment form of CHR, and modem CHR should logically be its extension and new development. Human society in the globalization age desperately needs to find a way to eliminate the threat of clash among civilizations, as well as common spiritual faith, values and ethics to serve as the foundation for the new world order. CHR which is rooted in the traditional Chinese culture can potentially provide the most effective solution.
