The Religious Dimension of Chinese Traditional Philosophy of Fate-In Chinese and Western Culture Perspective
摘要
語言宗教與形式化宗教的差異，是中西文化的根本。中國文化通過「天命之謂性，率性之謂道，修道之謂教」的體系，並強調命運理解、接受、執行的多元化和自覺承擔，真正形成了宗教與文化的內在統一。

The fundamental difference between Chinese and Western Culture is the difference of Linguistic Religion and Formal Religion. Chinese Culture actually constitutes the intrinsic unification of religion and culture through the system of ”What Heaven confers is called ”Tian Ming (天命)”. Accordance with this nature is called the Tao. Cultivating the Way is called ”Jiao (教).” and emphasizes the pluralism and voluntary commitment of understanding, acceptance and performance.
