Primary closure of soft tissue flap on the result of ridge preservation surgery and implant surgery is essential. Mary reported techniques of the soft tissue flap in the literature could achieve the result of primary closure. The purposes of the report are: (1) to introduce rotated split palatal flap (RSPF) technique, (2) to apply the RSPF on the ridge preservation and implantalion in the maxillary area, (3) the clinical resrlts of RSPF technique, (4) to disciss the indication contraindication, complication, and our clinical experience.
