下顎穿骨性植牙在臨床上之應用：病例報告

摘要

由於人工植牙的材料與技術的改良，解決了不少以往困擾牙醫師的補綴問題。然而，受限於骨頭高度的條件不足，人工植牙仍然存在其限制性。下顎穿骨性植牙即是利用下顎骨前端解剖構造少、皮質骨緻密的特性，由頦下區植入、穿透下顎骨的植牙手術。本文主要介紹下顎穿骨性植牙的材料特性、優缺點、臨床使用的適應症，並以病例報告說明下顎穿骨性植牙的手術步驟與假牙製作過程。

The severely atrophic edentulous ridge has been a challenge not only for the placement of the implant but also for the rehabilitation of the prostheses. Efforts have been made to increase the vertical height of bone. The transmandibular implant system is indicated for reconstruction of the severely atrophic mandibular edentulous ridge without bone augmentation or vestibuloplasty. The purpose of the paper is to introduce transmandibuar implant, including materials design, and clinical procedure. Both advantages and disadvantages are also mentioned.
