摘要


錨定的控制是矯正治療的基礎,傳統的矯正步驟常以牙齒充當錨定,然而牙齒可能因受力而移動,就會減低矯正治療的效率。臨床上因而發展出各種裝置與技術來加強矯正錨定。近幾年來迷你骨釘也被運用在矯正治療上,以解決嬌正錨定不足的問題。此種裝置直接鎖入骨中,不需病患的配合裝戴,價格較為便宜,體積較小可以放在顎骨中的許多部位,提供各種施力的錨定。迷你骨釘的手術步驟簡單,術後不需長時間的癒合即可開始矯正治療,可以縮短病患整個的治療時間。迷你骨釘可以承受整個矯正治療期間的施力,臨床上已有效地運用在關閉拔牙空間、臼齒前拉後移、改善傾斜的咬合面、矯正中線、牙齒強逼萌出、臼齒扶正以及牙齒下壓等治療上,迷你骨釘是一個穩定且方便的骨錨定系統,目前已成為矯正治療中錨定控制的重要裝置。

Anchorage control is fundamental to successful orthodontic treatment. Conventional tooth-borne anchorage has its limitation because teeth may move in response to forces. Various techniques to strengthen anchorage have been used in orthodontic practice. The recent introduction of miniscrew into orthodontics has provided clinicians with reliable means of solving anchorage problems that is not dependent on patient compliance. Moreover the surgical procedure of miniscrew insertion is uncomplicated. These inexpensive miniscrews are small enough to be placed in any area of the alveolar bone so that force can be applied in any direction. They are able to withstand typical orthodontic forces for the entire length of treatment and have been effectively applied in the closure of the extraction space, molar protraction or distalization, correction of the inclined occlusal plane or the dental midline, forced eruption of the impacted tooth, molar uprighting, incisor or molar intrusion as well as other orthodontic tooth movement. Since miniscrew can be loaded immediately after insertion which should shorten the, duration of the whole treatment. To supplement tooth-borne anchorage, the miniscrew is a reliable and convenient system for skeletal anchorage which is now becoming an important part of the anchorage control in clinical management of orthodontic patients.
