摘要

本文提出一位44歲男性，四年前完成矯正治療，並於上下顎前牙區以固定式維持器固位，在追蹤期因為牙周炎轉來進行牙周病治療。回溯病患接受矯正治療時的環口X光片中顯示在正中門牙的近心側有角狀骨缺損，當時病患並未接受牙周治療，後來之牙周評估時，發現11的牙周探測深度高達11毫米。在牙周初期治療後，牙齦發炎改善，此時11卻因維持器鬆脫出現齒間縫，經過牙周病整體治療後，再度進行矯正治療以關閉齒間縫，並給予病人固定式維持器及活動式維持器。追蹤到現在，牙齒的位置維持在矯正完成的位置，沒有移位現象。病患的預後除14以外，其他都是良好的狀況。

This article is a case report of a 44 years old man who finished the orthodontic treatment in our clinics. During the orthodontic follow-up period, he was referred to periodontal section for further evaluation due to 14 heavy deep pocket. In addition, the mesial surface of tooth 11 demonstrated 11mm probing depth and there was intrabony defect shown on radiography. Space reopening between 11 and 21 was noted during the periodontal treatment. After the periodontal therapy consisting GTR procedure on mesial surface of 11 and lingual surface of 43. Patient received localized orthodontic treatment to close the space between 11 and 21 and had fixed retainer on lingual surface of anterior teeth. Now, the overall treatment response is good. The periodontal condition and tooth prognosis of this patient was stable following the comprehensive periodontic-orthodontic treatment.
