Using a Combination of Sinus Augmentation and Titanium Mesh to Reconstruct Severely Resorbed Maxillary Ridge: A Preliminary Report

合併鼻竇增進手術與鈦網重建嚴重缺損的上顎齒槽脊:初步報告

摘要


本回溯性研究針對合併鈦網及鼻竇增進術來重建植牙所需齒槽脊的案例,探討其臨床治療結果及分析可能的影響因子。共計7位患者以電腦斷層掃描影像測量術前與術後齒槽脊的高度與寬度進行比較分析,並探討與固定骨釘有無之間的相關性。研究結果顯示,術前齒槽脊平均高度為6.5 ± 4.1 mm;術後齒槽脊平均高度為14.2 ± 3.5 mm;平均齒槽脊高度增加量為7.5 ± 4.7 mm。術前離預計牙骨質-牙釉質交接處(CEJ)3 mm的齒槽脊平均寬度為2.2 ± 2.6 mm;術後齒槽脊平均寬度為7.4 ± 1.9 mm;平均齒槽脊寬度增加量為5.2 ± 3.4mm。結論為以鈦網合併鼻竇增進術進行齒槽脊增進術在高度與寬度可達到具有統計學顯著差異的臨床齒槽脊增進效果,而與固定骨釘的使用無統計學上顯著關係。

This retrospective study evaluated the clinical outcomes and the possible influence factors of ridge augmentation using the titanium mesh and sinus augmentation in seven patients. Preoperative and postoperative alveolar ridge heights and widths were measured with computed tomography imaging, and the correlations between the augmented bone and fixation screw were also analyzed. The result showed that the mean (± SD) preoperative and postoperative alveolar ridge height was 6.5 (± 4.1) mm and 14.2 (± 3.5) mm, respectively, and the mean (± SD) vertical augmentation was 7.5 (± 4.7) mm. The mean (± SD) preoperative and postoperative alveolar ridge width was 2.2 (± 2.6) mm and 7.4 (± 1.9) mm, respectively, and the mean (± SD) horizontal augmentation was 5.2 (± 3.4) mm. This study demonstrated that using a combination of sinus augmentation and titanium mesh resulted in a significant difference of the ridge height and ridge width between before and after surgery. However, there was no significant correlations with regards to fixation screws.
