大班教學之問題及補救的方法

摘要


本文是以工程學的觀點(大小、結構等)及經濟的意含來檢視大班級的教學。主要探討的主題包括-師生比率,可利用的教學題材,上課時間的長度及老師們過量的負擔。針對以上問題,本文所提出的建議,可以在減輕老師負擔的前提下提高教學品質,且所有建議的方法亦不會增加教學成本。其中較特別的方法包括-一間教室可有多位老師及老師的輪替。

This paper examines the classroom situation from an engineering point of view (size, structure, etc.) and its economic implications. The major points discussed include: the student-to-teacher radio, the availability of teaching materials, length of the class period, and the excess burden placed on teachers. Suggestions will be presented which may improve the overall quality of instruction while reducing the stressful workload of the instructors. All suggestions are limited to those which will not increase the cost of instruction. Specific suggestions include multi-teacher classrooms and teacher rotation.
