本文之主要目的在於探討四個有關口語能力測驗的問題:(一)口語能力測驗要測試什麼?(二)如何執行口語能力測驗?(三)何種測試方法能達到較理想之有效性、可靠性、及實用性?(四)如何有效地評分?並經由解答以上問題來找出適用於語文實習課之口語測驗方法。
This paper attempts to propose some feasible testing procedures for assessing speaking skill in the language laboratory course through exploring the possible solutions to the questions frequently raised concerning testing of speaking in the EFL conversation classes: (1) What is the speaking test going to measure? (2) How is the test administered? (3) Which testing procedure can reach a more reasonable degree of validity, reliability, and practicality? (4) How to score the speaking test efficiently?
