身心靈平衡運動課程介入對大專女學生憂鬱傾向及睡眠品質之影響

Effect of Body Balance Sport Training on Depressive Tendencies and Sleep Quality of Female College Students

摘要


本研究目的在探討身心靈平衡運動課程對大專女學生憂鬱傾向及睡眠品質之影響。以憂鬱傾向達50分以上共68名,其中願參與實驗者共42位。依其自願分成A組(身心靈平衡舞蹈組;n=14)、B組(身心靈平衡運動加長身心放鬆冥想引導;n=14)及C組(控制組;n=14),經過十二週身心靈平衡運動課程介入。研究方法:受試者於介入前、後接受憂鬱傾向及睡眠品質檢測,以「曾氏心理健康量表」及「匹茲堡睡眠品質量表」為研究工具。所得數值以t考驗、單因子變異數分析(one-way ANOVA)及杜凱法進行事後比較等分析。研究結果:經不同身心靈平衡運動課程介入後,A、B兩組於憂鬱傾向、整體睡眠品質、自評睡眠品質、睡眠時數、睡眠困擾及影響日間功能等,改善達顯著差異;C組在整體睡眠品質、睡眠時數及睡眠困擾上有顯著負面之效益。本研究結論:身心靈平衡運動配合時間長短不一的身心放鬆冥想引導,在改善憂鬱傾向、整體睡眠品質顯著優於控制組;尤其以B組在改善憂鬱傾向、整體睡眠品質及影響日間功能上顯著優於A組及C組。但,身心放鬆冥想引導之時間長短對改善睡眠時數、睡眠困擾及自評睡眠品質上,其差異未達顯著。

The study's purpose was to understand the impact of body balance sport training on students' depressive tendencies and sleep quality. The study subjects were 68 female college students whose depressive tendency score was higher than 50. Forty-two volunteers in the experiment group were divided into three subgroups. Each group had 14 students, i.e. Group A (body balance sport training; n=14); Group B (body balance sport training focused on meditation and relaxation; n=14); Group C (control group; n=14). The project duration was approximately twelve weeks. Their depressive tendency and sleep quality was checked before and after the training. The study tools included the Zeng Physical Health Scale and the Pittsburg Index. Data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA and Tukey method. The result revealed that after body balance sport training, there was a significant improvement in student’s depressive tendency, overall sleep quality, self-evaluated sleep quality, sleep hours, sleep disturbance, and positive influence on day-time functions in Group A and B. But there was negative impact on overall sleep quality, sleep hours and sleep disturbance in Group C. The study conclusion indicated that body balance sport training with or without meditation and relaxation can improve student's depressive tendency and overall sleep quality. The improvement in depressive tendency, overall sleep quality and influence on day-time functions in Group B was much better than Group A and C. There's no significant variance in sleep hours, sleep disturbance and self-evaluated sleep quality after also participating in meditation and relaxation exercises.
