牙科實習醫師臨床訓練計畫評估

摘要


牙醫師的養成教育中,臨床訓練為非常重要的一環。本研究目的,為透過問卷調查方式,以中部某醫學中心牙醫系實習醫師為對象,探討主治醫師和住院醫師的教學內容滿意情形及實習醫師自我學習評量結果,以做為實習醫師臨床教學成效及臨床教學訓練計畫修訂之參考。發出68份問卷中,整體有效回覆率為64.71%。結果發現,對主治醫師及住院醫師的教學評量均在「滿意」及「非常滿意」間,其中對住院醫師的評分高於主治醫師,且在「病歷寫作指導」、「臨床病人檢查指導」等項目上達統計差異。科別評量上,「牙髓及牙周病科」與「齒顎矯正暨兒童牙科」在教學評量上均優於其他科別,且在「臨床操作指導」、「病歷寫作指導」等項目達統計差異。學生自我學習評量則多分佈在「中等」到「相當多」之間。在自我評量與教學內容評量的相關檢定中發現各教學項目均對「科之整體滿意程度」有所影響,且在「教學態度」、「教學方法」及「教學技巧」上呈現出相當顯著的相關性。 在開放性意見上實習醫師認為牙科部各科之間的訓練太過個體化,如何整合科際間的教學方向提供整體性、系統化的教學,為臨床訓練的過程中應重視的問題。

Internship is an important part of a dentist's education and training. The purpose of this study was to assess the instructor's teaching quality and the interns' self-evaluation of learning using a questionnaire. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect information by the interns who were studied in the department of dentistry of a medical center from August 2001 to January 2002. The results would be used as a reference for the modification of the current clinical internship training program in dentistry. The overall response rate to the questionnaire was 64.71%. The data show that the teaching quality of attending doctors and residents was evaluated as good. The interns were more satisfied with the teaching by residents than by attending doctors in “Medical history writing”, “Clinical examination skill” and “Operative skills”. Among five different sections, the teaching quality of both the section of “Prosthodontics & Endodontics” and “Orthodontic & Pediatric dentistry” were superior to the others in the dental department. In general, the interns' self-evaluation of their learning was acceptable. In an open-ended question, it was indicated by most students that the training program in each section was too individualized. An integration of the training program across the different sections should be established in the future.
